Miss Connecticut, Lauren Betancourt Joining Golfers for the 3rd Annual
SSIMED Golf Tournament to benefit CCMC
Windsor, CT, July 10, 2007 — SSIMED is excited to announce that recently crowned Miss Connecticut, Lauren Betancourt, will be joining golfers for the SSIMED 3rd Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC). The tournament will be held Thursday, July 19th at the Gillette Ridge Country Club in Bloomfield, CT.
Lauren Betancourt will be greeting the golfers in the morning and will also be available for photos and autographs during the day.
In the last few years, the tournament has donated over $25,000 to CCMC and are proud to be supporting the wonderful work they do with kids. “Many of us at SSIMED have family and friends that have been to CCMC and we have seen how important the Center is to the children of Connecticut. We choose Connecticut Children’s Medical Center as our beneficiary because the medical care they provide is vital and as a non-profit organization, they need our help.” said T.J. Burnett, SSIMED Tournament Chairman.
