Windsor, CT, January 9, 2006 — SSIMED, LLC, provider of medical practice management software and services, is pleased to announce a partnership with RxHub®, the leader in connecting the prescribing industry for the exchange of patient-specific prescribing information between physicians, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), payers and pharmacies. This new partnership will improve patient care and clinical outcomes by integrating RxHub’s content with SSIMED’s EMRge™ electronic medical record application.
SSIMED and RxHub will work together to push real-time eligibility, formulary, and medication history information to clinicians at the point of care, enabling more informed decision-making, reducing costs and improving the quality of care.
